Nope- it'll appear as D:.

It is NTFS and if I put that hd in another pc won`t there be a conflict with two "c" drives an two operating systems?

Is your NT formatted FAT or NTFS? If it's formatted using FAT then you can put another hard drive in the system, boot using a DOS boot disk, and then use xcopy to copy everything over to the new drive. If you're using NTFS, however, see if you can find another computer running NT/2000/XP using NTFS, and then move the drive into that computer as a second HD. When you boot into windows you should be able to grab the files you need from the drive. Obviously if you're using FAT you can also use the second method.

Error message "config sys missing or corrpted" is there any way to boot without a recovery disk? If I boot off OEM it wants to format and renistall costing me data loss............aaahhhhhh Sad
