help with quicktime player

CoolComputing Forum » Microsoft/Windows Software Questions

don't know whether I have done the right thing, deleted some unused program and the problem seems to go away. Confused thanks for the help anyway

Try going to the Quicktime control panel in your Control Panel folder. Find the "Sound Out" pop-up menu and set "Sound Out" to Direct Sound. Then click on the "Options" button and tweak the FIFO setting- try increasing first and see if it helps.

Hi, I'm using win98, bought an educational software which uses quicktime player. Have no problems with navigation but after couple of minutes, the sound dies off, what is the problem? How should I deal with it! Tried uninstalling and downloading the lastest quicktime player but problem persists. Had no problem with other games
