What monitor refresh rate is best for your eyes?

CoolComputing Forum » Hardware Questions

It has been my experience that since I switched to LCD, my eyes have thanked me..

85 is actually really good- the higher the more stable the image will appear to the eyes. You might want to checkout LCD monitors. They don't have "refresh rates" because all the dots light up at the same time. That would be the best for the eyes. Any refresh rate you see for LCD monitors are for video card compatibility only.

What monitor refresh rate is best for your eyes?

I keep my monitor at 85 hertz. Some one told me that a higher refresh rate reduces flicker on the monitor and is better for your eyes. I spend a lot of time in front of computer monitors so I’m always looking for ways to relive eye stress.
