daisy chaining fans

I have a simular setup with five fans and wanted wire control. Here is a link to a retailer that sells fan controlers cheap. It will add to the overall moding of your pc to your taste and budget. If I understood you correctly, the main problem would be if e.g. the first fan fails, the other two wouldn't get power... I think the main thing is that you want good airflow- so if you have a fan in the front of the case pulling in air and then have anohter fan in the back pushing out the hot air then you'd be in good shape.
