windows 98 running on pentium 4

You should have no problem at all actually. I do recommend that you stick with Windows XP because it is much more stable than Windows 98. Most of your Windows 98 applications should run fine under XP.

I am changing my pentium III for a new pentium 4 2.6Ghz machine but have a lot of software application that run under windows 98. can I install windows 98 on the pentium 4 and how it is the performance compare to my old computer, given I do not want buy new application software for windows XP which is the OS installed on the new P4 computers
