Well if you're doing hardware RAID (which is what it sounds like here) Windows will see the two drives as one big drive. Of course you realize the drawback is that if one drive goes, all the data on both drives goes kaput. You could add a third drive that's not RAID and put the OS on that, but that would kind of take away the speed advantage I think.
