Not knowing what brand of pc an easy fix to remove windows passwords is to remove the button battery on the motherboard for about five minutes and replace. this will erase any remembered passwords. You will have to reset date an time afterword.........

I recently bought a used computer. It was basically to fix and possibly use. I was
told the OS was Win. 95. Well it isn't it is Windows 2000 pro. I was wondering how to
reset the password on the LOG ON page. So that I can see what might be wrong with it
before I put another operating system on it. I have never used W2k, and wanted to see
if I liked it or not. Can you help me. Is there a way to get past the Window log on,
without say being a hacker or anything? LOL
