TRENDNet today made available for purchase its previously announced TRENDNet TEW-692GR 450 MBps router. What's special about the TEW-692GR is that it can achieve the same bandwidth of 450 MBps on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz spectrums while most of today's products can only do 450 Mbps on the 2.4. Armed with 3 antennas, the dual band router aims be the wireless medium of choice for you to transmit HD video without stutter, especially with the inclusion of video/audio QOS prioritization. For those of you who already have a router, you can disable the wireless functionality on it and then set the TEW-692GR to be a wireless access point only as an upgrade path.Priced at $250, the TEW-692GR won't be cheap, but it shouldn't take long for you to be able to buy it for less than $200.
