Zyxel has introduced a pair of network gateways with built-in VPN and firewall capabilities in the VFG6005 and the VFG6005N. The difference between the two models is wireless capability- VFG6005N supports wireless N networking up to 300 Mbps and has a pair of 2 dbi antennas. What sets both of these products apart are:

1)5 Gigabit ports including one for the WAN which means capability to support FiOS broadband.

2)Integrated VPN support (both PPTP plus IPSec)

3)Probably the most exciting feature- automatic failover to 3G via your wireless USB 3G modem plugged into the. So if your broadband connection fails, the ZyXel VFG6005N and VFG6005 will automatically kick up the 3G connection so downtime is minimized.

The Zyxel VFG6005N will go for $170 while the VFG6005 will have a suggested price of $140.
